Tripletop Lotion is used to treat psoriasis. Additionally, Tripletop Lotion may also be used to treat seborrheic dermatitis. Psoriasis is a skin condition in which skin cells multiply up to 10 times faster than usual, leading to skin building up into bumpy (uneven) red patches covered with white scales.

Tripletop Lotion is a combination of clobetasol, coal tar, and salicylic acid. Clobetasol works by inhibiting the release of chemical messengers that cause inflammation and redness. Coal tar and salicylic acid help break down keratin clumps, remove dead skin cells, and soften the skin.

In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such as a burning sensation, irritation, itching and redness at the site of application. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention.
