Why Soap-Free Matters in a Shower Gel
Soap is alkaline. It lifts your skin’s own oils out along with the dirt, and on skin that is already dry a four-minute shower can undo a whole evening of moisturising. That is why so many people moisturise diligently and stay dry.
This gel cleans with gentle surfactants instead, at a strength chosen to leave the barrier alone, which is why it foams properly but leaves no tight, drawn feeling afterwards. Niacinamide and the Skin Protect Complex, which raises the skin’s own moisture by prompting hyaluronic acid production, and replenishes lipids for longer-lasting protection.
The D.A.F. complex, which raises the skin’s tolerance threshold whatever your skin type — in plain terms, skin that reacts to less.
Plus glycerin, copper sulfate, caprylyl glycine, vitamin E and a set of sugars — xylitol, mannitol, rhamnose and fructo-oligosaccharides — that hold water at the surface.

How to Use It
Apply to wet skin, work it into a foam, rinse well, then dry gently by patting rather than rubbing. Once or twice a day. Body, face and hands.
Keep the water lukewarm rather than hot. Hot water strips skin faster than any cleanser does, and a hot shower will undo a good wash.
Then moisturise while the skin is still slightly damp, within a few minutes of getting out. That timing does more for you than which cream you choose, and it costs nothing.
